Project: Postage stamps

Brief: Create a five-pack of postage stamps with a cohesive theme and limited color palette

Despite my fears, I have developed a recent fasciation with various creepy crawlies, reptiles, and amphibians. So naturally, I chose spiders native to Oklahoma as my theme. It was tough to narrow them down, but I ultimately chose those people would be familiar with or have visual interest.

Starting at the top left and moving is the Black Widow, Scarlet Jumping Spider, Wolf Spider, and Yellow Garden Spider. I'm really happy with how these four turned out, with the Scarlet Jumping Spider being my favorite.

The Black Widow is a little pointy and could use some rounding out on the leg joints.

The spider on the bottom left is the Texas Brown Tarantula.
